We then had a pizza with olives, peppers, mushrooms (and other toppings, I forgot what they were).
Finally, to finish it off, coffee with tiramisu.

i officially hate dynamic link libraries. if any of you programmers out there are reading this, don’t ever use them (for a simple application). they are the bane of existence when unnecessary.

For the Adium, Pidgin, and other libpurple-based...
Apparently the Microsoft servers are rejecting connections from clients with the latest version of libpurple (which uses version 15 of the Messenger Protocol). So if you can’t connect, that is why.
For mac users, try using Adium v.13.1 or the official Messenger for Mac application.

I just downloaded was on track to download the 64-bit version in under 10 minutes! I think they throttled me. I also will have to suffer 14 or so hours in the slow queue.
That’s why you shouldn’t start downloading something big until about 5 minutes after the hour, when they’ve done their hourly check.
Oh I did… But I think they’ve made their system slightly...
