A view of downtown Toronto, a quarter century apart. So different! But even I remember when the waterfront was bare and you could see the Lake from Lakeshore. Crazyness.

Rogers claims they’ve increased my Internet’s download speed to 10Mbps from 7Mbps. Am I allowed to test this, Rogers?

Also, please make your tickets have useful information (such as “This ticket is only valid between stops A and B”) instead of random numbers that no one...

theseer: When we ask an employer, “Why hire me now?” the answer is, “Because we can”. That’s almost as silly as “The spirit of why not”. Wow. That’s so poorly done.

bruvark: We start 10 million light years from the Milky Way galaxy, and gradually zoom all the way to the subatomic level of an oak tree somewhere in Florida. Amazingly cool! This is fairly impressive.

I want to watch the Japan v Australia match but I can’t seem to find any channel that plays it in Toronto. So instead, I’m reading live updates as they come in on Fifa’s “MatchCast”. It’s a poor substitute. But Japan got a goal!

theseer: Sounds like a lose-lose-lose situation to me. When did I say otherwise? All I was saying was the landing was much more brutal than the 3 other times I’ve flown in via AC002… significantly moreso to the point where the flight attendant sitting infront of me had a strange look on her face and everyone was tightly grasping onto the arm rests.

theseer: marreka: The landing at pearson was rough… And I mean really rough. As in the plane shook violently on touchdown and the pilots had to brake incredibly hard to get the jet to stop (I feel like the overshot the runway a little). Even better, my little cold I had a while ago exploded during the decent into some sort of bigger cold. Now my voice is gone. boo. Just for the record, the...
