Somehow I think Ron’s right about that. But in that respect, props again to Canadian researchers (with Japan’s help) coming up with that new way of stem cell research. But it still requires fetuses until we actually know how to use this method.
It just kills me to think that the constitution is more in support of Americans having the right to firearms than it is in support of guarding the lives of unborn people. Then again, Canada is far worse. The unborn in Canada have no rights until after they’ve left the mother’s womb on their own efforts after 9 months of pregnancy. But I won’t get into that. Because this will become extremely political realllll fast.
Oh dear. I was clearly not thinking when I posted the above. Silly me. Ignore that. I think it was because I saw Angels & Demons last night and there was a scene where a nun and a man were arguing about stem cell research and that’s what made me think about that.
