Before I argue, let me point out that I do believe in God and Jesus and I’m not saying that the Bible is fictitious.
Fact is defined by “a truth known by actual experience or observation”. Contrast that with the faith: Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) says “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.
We don’t have definite proof of God. No one has actually observed God (and lived to tell about it). All of us today didn’t experience Jesus’ miracles or teachings first hand. Instead, what we have is faith that God and Jesus exists and faith that the teachings have been passed down to us in their truest form. To me, that’s one of the greatest beauties of the christian faith: The ability to believe and have faith without the need for the direct proof of God.
Thus, I take issue with this photo when it says that God is fact when evolution is a theory is incorrect. We can’t prove either, but what we don’t need to do is prove God.
